Have you ever thought about learning to quilt? Maybe you've never even learned to sew? Well learn both in this beginner class where you'll learn the basics of using a sewing machine, as well as the foundations of quilting - how to cut, piece, baste, top stitch, and bind. Don't have a sewing machine? No problemo! We have 3 to rent*.
Regan from A Bit Stitchy in Elmira is your instructor for the night. She'll help you make a simple quilted table runner - a perfect accent to change up your seasonal décor or add pops of colour into your neutral everyday décor. You will leave with a completed project that will give you all the tools you need to expand what you learned and make any sized quilt you want! Come and be part of a lovely small group with plenty of individual attention from the teacher, learn to sew, chat and make friends. The tea and biscuits are on us!
