It’s March Break! If you’re looking for a place where your child can exercise their creative muscles, look no further!
Kiddos will learn how to scribble, scratch and carve their designs into a piece of polystyrene (styrofoam!) to make relief prints like a pro! Relief (or block) printing is when you carve into a printing block that you then use to press onto paper and make a prints. Use pencils, plastic knives, paint brush handles, kitchen gadgets and more to make interesting designs and patterns, then load the brayers & foam rollers with ink or paint and start printing! We'll have fabric, greeting cards, cardstock and more to make all kinds of print designs! Kids can even bring their own blank white t-shirt from home to print on too. Holy FUN dude!
This workshop includes:
• All material and supplies for creating a several styrofoam block stamps
• various types & colours of water-soluble (yay clean-up!) inks and paints
• textiles and paper crafts for printing designs on
• painting and drawing materials
• snacks and beverages
• and of course, kids will come home with all pieces they create!

All registrations are considered final sale. Make up classes can be arranged with the instructor and studio availability. We reserve the right to cancel classes that don’t meet our minimum enrollment requirements. In the event of a class cancellation, notice will be given by phone and/or email to students four days prior to start date. Students will be refunded fees in full in this case.
