It’s March Break! If you’re looking for a place where your child can exercise their creative muscles, look no further!
These bold & beautiful inks look almost like watercolour paintings but they have the ability to adhere to all kinds of different surfaces rather than just paper, meaning you can make almost anything look like a colourful, swirled masterpiece! We'll be making a set of 2 porcelain coasters using rubbing alcohol and various colours of ink. Kids will use rubbing alcohol to move inks around on the coaster surface, with the help of straws, cotton swabs, toothpicks and paint brushes. They can make bursting blues, painted pink pastels or even heavy black & gold - the designs are surprising & endless!
NOTE: We are using household 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Masks, aprons & rubber gloves will be provided.
This workshop includes:
• everything needed to create a set of 2 glossy 4" x 4" tiles
• various types & colours of alchohol inks including metallics
• safety lesson & supplies (mask, gloves, etc)
• vinyl paper to play & practice on (and later turn into stickers!)
• snacks and beverages
• and of course, kids will come home with all pieces they create!

All registrations are considered final sale. Make up classes can be arranged with the instructor and studio availability. We reserve the right to cancel classes that don’t meet our minimum enrollment requirements. In the event of a class cancellation, notice will be given by phone and/or email to students four days prior to start date. Students will be refunded fees in full in this case.
