Learn the basic chemistry of soap making, how to use lye (NaOH) safely and the use of additives & exfoliants to make your very own, from-scratch, moisturizing bar soap.  Get our recipe for a medium-hard bar, made of premium oils & cocoa butter, that gives a great lather and soft, silky skin.  Scent your bars with our essential oils, colour with natural micas and add gentle exfoliants, herbs and florals (lavender, rose petals, calendula) to customize to suit your skins needs.
 
Each participant goes home with a block of soap (approx 4lbs) which will provide 10-15 bars of soap once cured.

Class Notes: Please wear closed toed shoes and long sleeves that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Aprons, gloves & protective eye wear provided.  Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
